Our driver will take you to the Bund, where you can admire the colonial-era buildings and the skyline composed of the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and Jin Mao Tower on the opposite bank. Then, stroll along Nanjing Road to experience Shanghai's bustling commercial atmosphere and taste street snacks such as xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) and milk tea. After approximately 2 hours, the driver will take you back to the airport.
Our driver will take you from the airport to Yu Garden. You will visit this classical garden, which features pavilions, terraces, towers, and ponds. Afterwards, you can explore the adjacent Yuyuan Bazaar, where you can taste local specialties such as shengjian mantou (pan-fried pork buns) and tanghulu (candied hawthorns).
Then you will head to the Oriental Pearl Tower. If you are not afraid of heights, you can climb to its upper sphere observation deck to take panoramic photos of the city. The entire trip will take approximately 4 hours, after which you will be driven back to the airport.
After departing from the airport, head first to Yu Garden. This classical garden is characterized by exquisite pavilions, terraces, towers, a winding Nine-Zigzag Bridge, and tranquil ponds. Strolling through it allows you to feel the elegant charm of Jiangnan-style gardens.
Next, proceed to the Former French Concession, where a large number of French-style old villas and shikumen (stone-gate) buildings have been preserved. Here, you can admire the charm of these historic structures. This visit will last approximately 2 hours. Following that, travel to the Bund and walk along the banks of the Huangpu River to admire the European-style architectures and the skyscraper cluster in Lujiazui on the opposite bank, with a visit duration of about 1.5 hours.
Then, head to the Shanghai Tower. Here, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the entire city of Shanghai and admire the stunning scenery of the urban sunset and the gradual lighting up of the night view. After approximately 1.5 hours of this experience, proceed to the airport for your return journey.
On the first day, depart Shanghai for Suzhou and visit the Humble Administrator’s Garden—China’s top classical garden, famous for its "changing scenery with each step" layout, letting you experience Jiangnan gardening art. Next, explore Tongli Ancient Town, a thousand-year-old water town. Wander its lanes for a slow-paced life and take a canal boat ride. Later, visit Lion Grove Garden, known for its unique Taihu stone rockery maze. After admiring the garden’s ingenuity, return to Shanghai for the night.
On day two, start with the Bund. Admire international architectural details and the distant Lujiazui skyline. Walk to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street to shop, browse, and taste local snacks, feeling Shanghai’s commercial energy. Then visit Yu Garden to explore its classical landscapes. Head to the Shanghai Tower for a city-wide panoramic view before proceeding to the airport to end the trip.
