Top 7 Xiamen Snack Streets

1. Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street

Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street was built in 1925. It is the oldest commercial street in Xiamen. The whole pedestrian street features South Fujian style verandahs on the buildings along both sides. In addition to all sorts of time-honored food stores, and restaurants, and souvenirs that go viral online, the shopping malls gathered here have formed one of the best business areas around here.

This gourmet food street got its name from Miaoxiang Road. It is definitely a street where tourists can get a sense of the South Fujian life style, in which various local delicacies and creative new cuisine can be found. 3. Xiamen 8th Market

Xiamen's eighth market, commonly known as the "Ba Shi", keeps countless “Xiamen memories” and is the gathering place of old nostalgic Xiamen ancient taste (guzao wei). Tourists will find various Xiamen snacks, delicious yet cheap seafood, vegetables and desserts. Do come to have a taste of Xiamen. Prosperity and simplicity are both demonstrated here.

4. Taiwan Gourmet Food Street

Here is the earliest street where food stalls gathered – Renhe Road, and it is now known as the Taiwan Gourmet Food Street. It offers scenery that resembles the national civil servant examination hall and the charm of Gulang Island. It is probably the first Taiwan snack street set on the other side of the strait. Almost all South Fujian & Tainwan style snacks can be found on this street. All tourists have a deep affection for these delicacies.

5. Xiamen Niuzhuang Cultural & Creative Industries

Xiamen Niuzhuang is made up of a variety of calf images, allowing tourists to experience the unprecedented classic "cattle" culture. No one should miss the food here. Coffee bars, European cuisine, Japanese and Korean cuisine, Taiwan snacks and stylish cabins offer both a tour of the culture and a feast of beef.

Longtou Road is the main shopping and gourmet food street on Gulangyu. Cultural and creative products can be found in many featured stores. The Four Restaurants and other dishes are offered. But the goods sold on Gulangyu are quite inexpensive.
