Tiananmen Square is located in the center of Beijing city. It is a very important place for all of China as well as Beijing, and is surrounded by several important buildings.
The Forbidden City is in the north of the square within walking distance, showing the depth and breadth of prior Chinese culture. Your guide will give you some interesting insight into the architecture, details, and interesting historical and factual information. The architecture is stunning as are the vibrant colors. In the Hall of Clocks and Watches you can see various characteristic collections of domestic and overseas timepieces.

Have lunch in a local restaurant. Your final stop in Beijing is the Temple of Heaven. It is virtually like no other, considered to be the masterpiece of ancient architecture in China. Each building plays a definite role in the activities of worshipping heaven and praying for harvest. The main temples are set in a beautiful park, where many locals play cards, and Majong, or Taichi, and dance in the morning time.
At around 16:30, you will depart for Tianjin Dongjiang Bonded Port. Get on board your cruise for your next destination.
