Shanghai Night Sightseeing & Local Food Tour

Please gather at Seventh Heaven Hotel at 17:30 to meet your guide, then begin the walking tour along Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street.

First, take a leisurely stroll along Nanjing Road, Shanghai's most famous commercial street, where shops and shopping malls on both sides are brilliantly lit up at night. You can wander along this century-old street, admire historic buildings such as Wing On Department Store and the First Department Store, and experience the perfect blend of tradition and modernity.

Walk to the Bund. From the viewing platform, you can see skyscrapers across the Huangpu River — including the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, and Shanghai World Financial Center — shining brightly in the night sky. The light show and architectural lighting complement each other, forming the highlight of the Bund’s night scenery.

On the way to Yuyuan Bazaar, you will also pass the 52 historic buildings along the Bund. Illuminated at night, they showcase diverse architectural styles: Gothic, Baroque, Classicism, and more. The lights outline their elegant contours, creating a vintage and magnificent atmosphere.

Continue walking to Yuyuan Bazaar. At night, the Huxinting Tea House is delicately highlighted by lights. Follow your guide to the Nine-Turn Zigzag Bridge, where the pond reflects colorful lanterns in a dreamlike scene. Lantern festivals may be held during the Spring Festival or special periods, which are well worth seeing.

This area is also a paradise for Shanghai cuisine. You will join your guide to taste authentic local snacks, such as:

• Shengjian Mantou(Pan-fried Pork Bun): Crispy bottom, tender and juicy pork filling — one of Shanghai’s most iconic snacks.
• Xiaolongbao: Steamed buns with thin wrappers, generous fillings, and rich soup inside.
• Green Rice Cake (Qingtuan): Glutinous rice cake colored with wormwood juice, filled with sweet red bean paste or salted egg yolk with pork floss.

The tour ends at Yuyuan Bazaar. You may either return to the starting point with your guide or say goodbye to the guide and continue exploring more food and shopping here on your own.
