After arriving at the airport in Hailar, our staff will be waiting for you at the airport and take you to the hotel. On the way, the tour guide will explain the itinerary for the next few days and some of the folk customs of Inner Mongolia, so that you can better integrate into the journey of Inner Mongolia.
In the morning, visit the Morigele River, known as the "No. 1 Curved Water in the World", which is also the soul of the Hulunbuir Grassland. The river channel is like a silver hada, with nine bends and eighteen turns, winding between the vast grasslands, and a random shot is a natural wallpaper. You can experience horse riding at your own expense, galloping on the riverside meadow under the guidance of herdsmen, and feel the freedom of the wind blowing on your cheeks; you can also try traditional archery, and experience the heroic style of the Mongolian people between pulling the bow and setting the arrow. Stroll along the riverbank, and you may encounter wooden bridges and wild flower slopes. Immerse yourself in the most primitive tranquility and vastness of the grassland, and capture your grassland memories.
Morigele River
In the afternoon, we will visit the Ergun Wetland, known as the "First Wetland in Asia". We will walk on the wooden boardwalk in the forest, shuttle between the birch forest and the wetland, and if we are lucky, we can see the reindeer herd walking in the forest. We will focus on visiting the important area of the wetland for the protection of birds in the world, which attracts many migratory birds to inhabit and breed here every year, and is a paradise for bird lovers.
Ergun Wetland
Your's Rewards:
Capture the winding grassland river views and natural wallpapers, experience the boldness of horse riding and archery, feel the tranquility of the wetland and the vitality of migratory birds, and gain double satisfaction from vision and experience.
Educational Focus:
What natural geographic factors have contributed to the unique river channel morphology of the Morigele River, which is known for its "nine bends and eighteen turns"?
Takeaway:
The flat and open terrain of the Hulunbuir grassland provides space for the river to swing; the loose sediments in the basin reduce the resistance to downcutting and facilitate lateral erosion; the gentle precipitation and stable groundwater recharge make the river have water all year round and the flow rate is gentle, which weakens the upstream erosion and strengthens the lateral migration; the geostrophic deflection force differentially erodes the river bank, and finally jointly creates the unique curved shape of the Morigele River, the "first curved water in the world".
Thought Challenge:
What changes might occur in the channel morphology of the Morigele River against the backdrop of the grassland ecosystem transition, and what chain reactions might these changes have on the surrounding grassland environment?
In the morning, visit a Russian ethnic family and learn about the cultural origins, religious beliefs and living customs of the Russian ethnic group through the host's enthusiastic sharing. You will enjoy the melodious performance of ethnic musical instruments such as the accordion, and listen to the unique Russian folk songs. The most anticipated thing is to make Russian painted eggs by yourself. Under the guidance of the teacher, you can use colored pens to outline patterns and embellish decorations. The completed painted eggs can be taken away for free and become precious travel souvenirs.

Go deep into the Greater Khingan Mountains and visit Aoluguya Ewenki Ethnic Township, the last hunting tribe in China. Enter the Evenk tribe, get close to the reindeer, and you can feed the moss by hand. Learn about the reindeer herding customs, a national intangible cultural heritage, and experience the wisdom of the hunters who depend on reindeer for their livelihood. At the same time, explore the birch bark culture like "living fossil", see the inheritors use birch bark to make practical and beautiful living utensils, and feel the exquisite original skills.
Reindeer raised by the Evenki people
Your's Rewards:
Listen to Russian-style folk songs and musical instrument performances, make Easter eggs by hand as souvenirs, interact with reindeer, appreciate birch bark craftsmanship, and feel the charm of diverse ethnic cultures.
Educational Focus:
How did the reindeer herding customs of the Aoluguya Ewenki people, a national intangible cultural heritage, form and pass down to the present day in adapting to the natural environment?
Takeaway:
The Aoluguya Ewenki people have lived in the depths of the Greater Khingan Mountains for generations. The climate is cold, and the physiological characteristics of reindeer, which are cold-resistant and good at walking, are highly adapted to the local forests and tundra landforms. They have become an important support for tribal hunting and transportation, and thus formed a folk culture related to reindeer, such as sacrifices and taboos. In the changes of the times, this custom has been continued thru the way of practice inheritance, and has become an important carrier for maintaining national identity and inheriting traditional culture.
Thought Challenge:
As modern lifestyles continue to permeate, how can the core connotation of reindeer customs be maintained in its original form in the protection and development, rather than being reduced to a simple display symbol?

Your's Rewards:
Travel through the forest of northern China to enjoy the magnificent scenery, breathe fresh negative oxygen ions, experience Russian-style wooden houses, and appreciate the cross-border style of the border town.
Educational Focus:
As an important forest sea in northern China, what geographical and climatic conditions are closely related to the formation of the unique vegetation landscape of the Moerdaoga National Forest Park?
Takeaway:
Moerdaoga National Forest Park is in the northern Greater Khingan Mountains. Its high latitude brings low temperatures and long winters, with coniferous forests as the main vegetation; the temperate continental climate's abundant sunshine and concentrated summer rain supply proper water and light to Larix gmelinii, Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica and other trees. Undulating mountain terrain creates "nine ridges and eighteen bends" microclimates, with diverse vegetation communities across different altitudes and slopes.
Thought Challenge:
How to develop tourism in primeval forests without damaging their ecology?

Your's Rewards:
Ride through the diverse natural secret realm, meet the dreamy light and shadow of the birch forest, watch the grassland sunset, participate in the bonfire singing and dancing, and enjoy the comfort of the integration of nature and humanities.
Educational Focus:
What are the ecological characteristics of the birch trees in the birch forest scenic area that enable them to grow in patches in the transition zone between grassland and forest?
Takeaway:
Birch trees have unique ecological characteristics that make them suitable for the transition zone between grasslands and forests. Their roots are well-developed and extend horizontally, allowing them to efficiently absorb moisture and nutrients from shallow soil and adapt to the uneven soil fertility in the transition zone. The bark is white and thick, which can reflect strong light, reduce moisture evaporation, and resist strong sunlight and drought in grassland areas. The leaves are triangular and have a large surface area, and the photosynthetic efficiency is high, which can accumulate nutrients under the variable light conditions in the transition zone. At the same time, birch seeds are light and small and have strong propagation ability, which can quickly reproduce in open areas with the help of wind and form continuous communities. These characteristics enable them to find a balance between the shade of the forest and the open environment of the grassland, and become the dominant tree species in the transition zone.
Thought Challenge:
When the birch forest becomes a popular tourist destination, how can we meet people's needs for checking in while avoiding the destruction of its original ecological adaptation mechanism by human activities?
The day begins with watching the magnificent grassland sunrisein Heishantou. Cattle and sheep begin to forage, and the whole picture is full of vitality and hope. After sunrise, experience the rich grassland projects in a Mogongolian ranch: put on gorgeous Mongolian clothes, take photos on the grassland, take the grassland train, slowly enjoy the grassland scenery along the way, relax and enjoy, and feed the sheep by hand, interact closely with the lovely sheep, and feel the fun of grassland life.

Go to Hulun Lake, known as the "Pearl of the Prairie", which is the largest lake in Inner Mongolia. The lake water is clear and blue, and the beach is soft. It forms a beautiful natural picture with the blue sky, white clouds and grassland. Strolling along the lake, blowing the fresh lake wind, admiring the rippling lake water and the soaring water birds, and feeling the healing of the lake and mountains. You can walk along the lake shore to take photos, or sit quietly on the shore to enjoy a moment of tranquility. After the visit, drive to Manzhouli, a border city full of exotic customs. Along the way, enjoy the unique scenery of the transition from grassland to city, and look forward to the lights of Manzhouli at nite.
Hulun Lake
Your's Rewards:
Capture the vitality of the grassland sunrise, experience Mongolian clothing, small trains, sheep feeding and other projects, encounter the beautiful scenery of Hulun Lake, and feel the transitional style of grassland and city.
Educational Focus:
How does Hulun Lake keep its water clear while preserving the ecological balance of the surrounding grasslands?
Takeaway:
Hulun Lake takes in water from nearby rivers, and wetlands, reed marshes and other aquatic plants trap sediment and pollutants to keep its water clear. Surrounding grasslands get water vapor from it in dry seasons, easing drought impacts. Lakeside wetlands and grasslands are linked by a full ecological chain, providing habitats and food for water birds, cattle, sheep and more to support biodiversity. Grassland plants' roots hold soil and retain water in return, reducing soil erosion damage to the lake. They form a "lake feeds grass, grass guards lake" symbiosis together, keeping the region's ecology stable.
Thought Challenge:
As Hulun Lake turns into a popular tourist spot, how to meet tourists' sightseeing needs while keeping the symbiotic tie between the lake and the grassland undamaged?
Walking into the Matryoshka Square in Manzhouli, you will find the world's largest Matryoshka-themed scenic area, which is full of strong Russian style. Educational Focus:
Admire the world's largest matryoshka doll, experience the multicultural heritage of border areas, and gain an in-depth understanding of the history and diverse cultures of Inner Mongolia.
Takeaway:
Hulunbuir is located on the border between China and Russia, and is a transitional zone between grassland, forest and farming areas, providing a natural basis for the migration and settlement of various ethnic groups. The migration of nomadic peoples, trade exchanges and border trade in the past dynasties have promoted the contact between local ethnic groups such as the Mongolian and Ewenki ethnic groups and foreign ethnic groups such as the Russian ethnic group. All ethnic groups complement each other in production, and nomadic, hunting and farming techniques are learned from each other; in life, they are integrated, and clothing, diet and folk customs influence each other. In addition, the social environment in which multiple ethnic groups have lived together for a long time has formed a cultural pattern of inclusive coexistence, diversity and unity, which has become a distinct feature of regional culture.
Thought Challenge:
With multi-ethnic cultures as the core of tourism displays, how to spread their charm while preserving the original essence and uniqueness of each ethnic culture?
