Giant Panda Encounter

After getting off the plane, you will be picked up by a driver and taken to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base. Upon arrival at the base, head straight to the areas where giant pandas are most active to watch their cute antics as they eat and play, and feel the unique charm of these pandas. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours, after which you will return to the airport for your connecting flight.

Pandas, Three Kingdoms & Ancient Streets

Departing from the airport, head first to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base to watch the giant pandas in their active state—observing them eat, climb trees, and play, and capturing the cute moments of the pandas. After approximately 3 hours of visiting, proceed to Wuhou Memorial Temple.

Upon entering Wuhou Memorial Temple, explore the Three Kingdoms relics and historical cultural relics, and feel the profound heritage of Three Kingdoms culture.

Wuhou Memorial Temple is adjacent to Jinli Ancient Street, reachable on foot. Stroll leisurely in the ancient street: spend 1 hour tasting local specialties such as Dan Dan noodles and San Da Pao (a traditional Sichuan snack), then take another hour to browse handicraft shops and enjoy folk performances, immersing yourself in the charm of Chengdu. Afterwards, you will be sent to the airport by the driver to ensure a smooth boarding for your connecting flight.

Pandas, Ancient Relics & Historic Streets

A driver will pick you up from the airport and take you to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, where you can watch the natural behaviors of adult pandas and the cute interactions of panda cubs. The visit lasts approximately 3 hours.

Then proceed to the Jinsha Site Museum. Visit the Relics Hall to see the excavation sites of China's national treasure-level cultural relics such as the Sun God Bird gold foil, and then head to the Exhibition Hall to systematically learn about the development context of the ancient Shu civilization. Through cultural relics and scene restorations, you can visualize the scenes from 3,000 years ago. After the visit, depart for Jinli Ancient Street.

Stroll along Jinli Ancient Street: spend 1 hour sampling specialty snacks such as tangyouguozi (sweet fried dough balls) and danhonggao (egg sponge cake), then take another hour to browse intangible cultural heritage handicraft shops and watch Sichuan opera face-changing performances. Experience the folk customs of western Sichuan in the ancient street shaded by red lanterns. After leaving Jinli, the driver will take you to the airport.

Giant Pandas and Historical Exploration

On the first day, head to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base and stroll around to watch giant pandas and red pandas. In the afternoon, visit Wuhou Memorial Temple, the only temple in China where emperors and ministers are jointly worshipped, to learn about the culture of the Three Kingdoms period.

On the morning of the second day, go to local tea house, order a bowl of covered tea that costs 10-30 yuan to experience a slow-paced life. Then proceed to Jinli Ancient Street to taste snacks and buy souvenirs. After that, take a ride with the driver to Jinsha Site Museum to admire cultural relics such as the Sun God Bird gold ornament. In the evening, arrange for transfer to the airport according to the flight time and conclude the trip.
